What are the Mushroom Festival opening hours?
The 2023 Mushroom Festival will be held on Saturday 14 October and Sunday 15 October between
9 am - 4 pm.

Is there parking at the Mushroom Festival? 
Yes, event parking is available in both the Queen Victoria Market Undercover Car Park and the
Open Air Car Park. Entry to both car parks is via Queen Street. Please note the Open Air Car Park closes at 11 p.m., and the Undercover Car Park is open at all times. 

Are pets allowed at the Mushroom Festival? 
Animals are not allowed at the Mushroom Festival, with the exception of registered Assistance
and Guide dogs.

Is there an entry fee for the Mushroom Festival? 
No, the Mushroom Festival is a free event. 

Is alcohol available for purchase at the Mushroom Festival?
Yes, the Mushroom Festival will have a licensed area where alcohol can be purchased and consumed, we encourage the responsible consumption of alcohol, and only alcohol purchased on the premises may be consumed.  

Are there ATMs available onsite? 
Yes, there are ATMs conveniently located throughout the site. Traders accept both credit card
and cash payments, however, contactless payment is preferred. 

Is smoking permitted at the Mushroom Festival? 
No, smoking is strictly prohibited within the boundaries of the Mushroom Festival.

Do I need to book?
No bookings are necessary.

Can I film or take photographs at the Festival? 
Yes and please tag @AustralianMushrooms @australianmushroomgrowers when you post on
social media.

Where are the toilets located? 
Toilets are located along Queen Street, and in String Bean Alley at the Peel Street end.

How can I apply to become a performer?
